^^^This was mine, first "gun" as a matter of fact. Probably spent hundreds if not thousands of hours with this thing out in the back yard....would also have a lot of fun with the darts it could shoot in the kitchen. Great memories.

    Red rider !!

I got my ass whooped day 1 for shooting out a window pain lol
LOL. The Marksman I had came with a little cardboard dart board. I hung it up on my mom's stove the first night I had it....let's just say I had to enjoy a "waiting period" before I got it back. haha

A Daisy lever action BB gun. Not a Red Ryder though. One pump and done. Parabolic trajectory over 30'.

This thread really got me thinking and a bit off topic. That Marksman I had was a little brick, pure metal, Id throw it around, run around the neighborhood with the guys, we'd be out in the woods building forts, probably dropped it in the creek a few times....never missed a beat. The stove still has a little crack in the glass that covers the timer...and that crack has been there for decades thanks to the Marksman. But guess what? The stove is aproximately 62 years old and mom still makes her casseroles and even Thanksgiving dinner in the thing. They don't make stuff like they used to, BB guns or appliances. I'm sitting her baffled how a 62 year old stove is still running like they day she got it. Meanwhile, I got her another stove and it didn't make it 10 years before it died of natural causes. Those old 1950s era GE appliances were industructible.

Sheridan Silver Streak, 5mm/.20 cal. Bought it and took it home on the public bus system. Ah, those were the good old days.

My first was a Daisy 1894 (it was actually my brother's but he wasn't interested in it and I conned him out of it)... fairly realistic looking and a ton of fun to shoot. I remember more than on Halloween dressing up as a cowboy and taking it with me trick or treating... guess those days are over.
