I think I read all the pages here, for a friend of mine, and elsewhere. I could not find anything resembling people w personal experience or "legal" advice with how to get "rid" of a MM card w status. Only thing I've seen is maybe 365 days AFTER turning it in?
I assume this affects Concealed carry permit too?

Yes it effects your CCP but more importantly you are Not allowed to own firearms if you have a MMC per federal law.
Let me qualify that answer as I cannot site the law it’s only what I’ve been told by several different people within the ATF.

But until then there are two indisputable facts: 1) today NO legal nationwide roadside test exists for THC, and 2) if or until that happens DUI stoners are out on the road, imperiling innocent people’s lives, without facing the same legal consequences for their actions as drunk drivers. This isn’t a hypothetical keyboard-discussion in my family…

My buddy works for a MM dispensary. He does NOT have a card nor does he use. Or drink. Or do anything that would normally prohibit him from getting his permit, but has not applied. Anyone have any insight on an employee of a dispensary or related getting their permit?

I don't care enough to read your long post but I'll say that you're welcome to smoke all the weed you want currently without the risk of getting pulled over and getting a DUI. I'm sure you and the rest of the potheads will continue to claim that weed is safer than booze....blah blah blah.

If we ratchet up the punishment scale toward the Saudi level, a lot of crime would be eliminated, as well as the criminals themselves.

Actions ought to have consequences. A consequence of deploring the issue of the poor criminals has been the exacerbation of criminal activity, as most of the real consequences of criminal activity have been eliminated.

We'll eventually get back to more stern methods of dealing with serious misbehavior. It will either be done under the law, or otherwise.
