Title: 'HQL denied for medical marijuana card'

I thought this thread would be informative. It's chock full of crap about everything but HQL and MMC.

How about last night's zoom meeting marijuana related questions? Anyone able to be there and relay answers here?

If I'm able to gain access to the audio I'll relay it here myself word for word.

Hasn’t the MMC / HQL thing been answered many times to the point the thread has taken a few side trips. If the answers here aren’t what your looking for you can call the MDSP licensing division and ask.

Actually this thread is 100% informative on that topic. Because it's really, really simple. Have an MMC? No HQL for you. Want an HQL? Turn in the MMC, get paperwork saying you did, and then wait a year before applying for that HQL, showing that you're no longer a regular user of federally illegal drugs. That's it. That's 100% of the information you need, and it was addressed in this thread multiple times.

Not sure there's any real question here - already answered many times in the thread. Active MM card, no HQL or carry permit.

Oh, and don't have a positive drug test or arrest/criminal citation for possession during that year wait.

100% informative, you haven't been reading this thread past ten pages.
Almost nothing about the process of getting back 2a rights(no documentation at all about it), no laws on books about it, almost no first hand experience. Lots of "No HQL if you have MMC and wait 365". Obviously no HQL w MMC. 365 comes from where? That's it.

Did you tell the truth on the application?

You are supposed to answer “Yes” to the questions about arrests, charges, convictions and probation.

If expunged, say so AFTER admitting to the true history.

That’s how you get approved AFTER expungement.
My HQL was denied today for charges from 2007 poss/distribution of marijuana I was contacted by MDSP an I got expungement a 1hr later btw the drugs was planted on me by FABIEN LARONDE …BCPD officer who has now been fired!

You don't need to refer to or give information concerning an expunged charge when applying and refusal by a person to disclose said information cannot be the sole reason for denial for a permit. If you had the charge expunged before you applied I would contact a lawyer and appeal. It is a violation of Maryland Code. If you got it after then reapply.

The FBI, who runs the NICS.
Yes, can anyone point me to anything about that? I'd love to read something outside of the forum from a government organization like the FBI. About 365 days and the process of getting back 2A rights.
    thank you
