I purchased a Griffin Dual-lok 7 for a crazy low sale price (from a dropshipper). I thought I would go with homogeneous mounts across my rifles. So I purchased a Griffin HRT over the Dual-lok 5. The HRT has higher backpressure, 20% heavier 14.4oz vs 11.1oz, it has better flash, and "more durable". Griffin said the HRT is a Recce baffle stack vs an explorr stack in the DL5. My buddy said I'm going to REALLY regret not going with the lighter can. These are my first suppressors. Should I try and ask capitolarmory real nice to cancel the HRT and try and get the Dual-lok 5? Or even go with the OSS Flow 556k? Any advice from some suppressor veterans would be helpful. I also knew nothing about the drama around Griffin. I liked the idea of the dual lock system, simply because my buddies racheting system no longer makes that cool "click click" sound. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
