They'll cry, “Court-ordered community service is just a return to slavery; therefore all skin colors are exempt, except (guess which) one.”
I am sure you are right along with the i didnt do muffin crowd or the you targeted me because my skin color.
but strong leaders would stand up to them and say you broke the law knowing what the penalty is and if you do not do this then you go to jail your choice

There are signs on almost every light post saying smoking or vaping is illegal but people don’t think that applies to smoking pot, same with them smoking pot in the hotel rooms or balcony i have walked behind more then one group of people walking down the boards openly smoking pot and police don’t do anything about it
Probably. My in-laws live near OC. Though I am rarely in OC. We usually go down to assateague for the beach. But every time I’ve seen someone smoking or vaping and OC police notice, the person has gotten a talking to. And a couple of those instances it looked like more than talking and they were issuing a citation.

Sure thing, I’ve seen people openly smoking. On the beach and the board walk. I also see a crap ton more people than OC cops.

    Exceptions dont make the rule
My sister and her family live there as well as my in-laws. I haven't heard them complain about crime. The neighborhood they live in is full of families. Several of my wife's friends live at the beach and I haven't heard any of them complain about rampant crime. A few news stories don't make the whole place bad. Baltimore on the other hand. I lived in the city for 10 years I wouldn't move back if you bought me a house and paid me a salary. OC I would move to in a minute. The people that commit crimes don't live there so it's a one and done for them.

Go to west ocean shitty and around the inlet at night and you will see how bad it can be. Just because a small groups you know don’t complain ahoy the crime doesn’t mean it isn’t happening. If they stay in their neighborhood after dark and only go in the bad areas during the day, early morning and early evening they may not see it And because they don’t see it or it happens to them they are not paying attention to it. your analogy of Baltimore isn’t a good one because there are good sections of Baltimore just like ocean shitty

Look around town, the place have gone down hill very fast in the past 10 years, crime and drugs out of control, prices have quadrupled in the past 4 years you can not kick a beachball with out it going in a place that sells alcohol, trash blowing all over the boardwalk, You like these things?
IDK, I don’t kick balls around the boardwalk. Most of the time, I’m in OC I stay in the North side away from the riff raff.

I live in West O and I’m just not sure what you’re referring to. This doesn’t exist unless the trash from the western span blows its way over.

There are no good sections in Baltimore only less crime ridden areas. Canton is a "nice" area until you walk into a group of kids that want your wallet. Roland park is nice but expensive and there is still crime there. I have never had an issue in west OC. The people I know go out around those areas. Still haven't heard anywhere near the issues I've heard about in Baltimore. If you hate OC so much just don't go, stay in Baltimore with all the murderers and crack heads. I don't think you know as much as you think you know. What issues have you had in West OC? We walked from Micky Fins to Harbor Side 3 weeks ago and didn't see anything. My Brother in law lived on S. Kenwood, his house was broken into, they stole his phone, computer, and car keys. His car was gone and it didn't turn up until a week later completely destroyed. His wife had her car run into buy a criminal trying to evade the police, it was totaled. A coworker got hit in the knockout game and was effed up for a while. Another coworker had her car broken into and set on fire because there was nothing to steal in it. I haven't heard anything remotely that bad coming out of OC from anyone I know about anything. The worst story I have from West OC was my sister's contractor skipping out on a job after being paid and ghosting.

Edit: West OC isn't the inlet. That's Ocean City proper. You don't even know what you're talking about.

He's a hard core hater. My sister lives off of center drive and has had zero issues. I used to live on Salisbury road and we would leave the doors unlocked most of the time. There just isn't the level of crime he thinks there is. Yeah the riff raff shows up in the summer and you see some news blurbs but they get dealt with and it's over.

The area you are referring to is the wealthiest part of the entire OC area.

An 99.9% of the “crime” downtown and on the Boardwalk is not from Ocean City locals. Heck, even the stabbing at the Bloody Bucket was Western Shore trash.

Summer on the Boardwalk after Midnight, nope. I’m not a drunk or looking for drugs.

This time of year, no problem. Surf fish all the time after midnight. Only time I free time.

    Exactly.
I read the arrest reports in papers and on websites. 9 out of 10 is after 2am in OC lower than 15th street and people from out of town (Bmore, Salisbury etc). Before I was boating again, I was bridge fishing. We would go and stay sometimes until 1am and WOW what a different place it was after midnight. One night we saw cop car after cop car racing across the bridge into OC. Went to pick up car and did a loop thru 1st street and people were all in the street. They closed down the boardwalk due to a rutcuss. I believe that kind of crap does not really happen any more but nothing good happens after midnight down there on the streets after the boardwalk shops close. No issues all these past few years staying out just past 10:00 parking at the inlet.

OC, West OC, Ocean Pines you will find is more Red than Blue.

Today, I’ve seen four pulled in force. One other DE tagged tinted out. An an asshat flying past a stopped school bus. Speed limit is 30MPH because of the “special event zone”, big money grab for the State.
