A coworker who is much more into shotguns more or less said the same thing about the shell expanded length and how it can generate over pressurizing conditions. I got a couple boxes of 2.75" slugs today so all is well.
Says on the barrel chambered for 2.75 inch shells, not noticing the slugs I had were 3 inch, yet they dropped right in.
Figured out how to take the barrel off, measuring and comparing to other shot guns I have with 3 inch chambers they look identical. hmm...
Circa 1975 the slam fire was done away with.
The circumstances surrounding how this shot gun came to be available are unfortunate. My Aunt and her long time boyfriend decided last week to go their separate ways. He left today returning to Fargo ND and I lost access to the dream garage as the...
Not that I would ever do such a thing :innocent0unless the zombies are invading or something.
Plain model, no rib or engraving. The Choate M5 stock is the only thing I want to add.
Picked up a 1971 model year according to the SN, basic model 20" barrel with a orange-glo type single bead sign. Not a polished up safe queen but not a crusty beater either.
The trigger break and the smoothness of the pump action are on another level.. These have always been described as a step...
Converted two of the Haas mills (2017 & 2018) at work over to the way oil today. I have approximately 1/2 gallon of the 'tan' liquid grease left in the jug and two of the 'oil filter' style grease reservoirs that are 1/2-3/4 full of tan grease still. Both of the grease reservoirs were original...
Graduated from the shovel and wheelbarrow. Too many projects and not enough hours in the day to make things happen. Picked up a Yanmar 223 with a loader and backhoe to save my back and find a few more hours in the week. Love the damn thing, the tiniest little diesel engine I have ever seen...
In a state that is so openly hostile towards firearms in all manners possible your best effort at all times has got to be 110% towards not causing another statistic that will be used against us all in the name of more 'common sense gun control'...
The accidental discharge @ SLSC last year or...
Agreed
Since 2020 I have probably been out to shoot less than two dozen times and yet crap like this comes along and just today I bit my tongue and renewed for another year with SLSC just to not deal with this drama. Cold is cold, end of discussion.
Myrtle Grove is a relic of the...
Sure did for me... They could not make those charges go away fast enough for how jacked up Trooper J. Walker of "Marylands Finest, Leonardtown" conducted himself that night.
And now I carry one every single day everywhere I go.
