      likely. i just dont usually go to a barracks to stir up from what they tell me. keep it simple and move on. but i wont dissagree with you. the guy there that day seemed to have a chip on his shoulder anyway. not everyone is as easy to deal with as the best of them.

      The MSP desk jockey I talked to asked for mine. I got an m4e1 Aero lower stripped. They messed up 2 other parts of the process and I had to go back and resubmit it. YMMV that's my experience.

      you do the 77r online as the buyer, you need to enter the sellers info into the 2nd section. once completed you can take that info to state police. MSP does the transfer paperwork and starts the 7 day waiting period. you dont have to go back to the barracks. i just transferred a lower 2 months...

      perspective i would say this would be a waste of time. say you pin the MD and sleeve, then you need to remove... you then grind off the weld, pull the pin and remove the MD and sleeve. you now have a hole thru the barrel and muzzle device that might shift upon removal and retorquing...

      trying to get all my ducks in a row to purchase a new stripped lower from a friend legally and locally to build an 11.5. I may want SBR one day but not yet. filled out 77r, planning a visit to Jessup MDSP barracks this Friday. do I need finger prints and/or 4473 background filled out or done...
