I have my 550 dialed in for 9mm, 380, 32, 223, and 30-30. Different tool heads for each. I haven't competed for years, but I did get some pretty decent results when I did. I do hunt with a 30-30 load that I developed on the 550. Been a few years since I loaded those, I kind of overestimated how...
I have one 'extra' 22" x 64" replacement glass insert for a Jeld-Wen (Lowes) patio door. Fits into a 22 x 64 opening in the door. Internal mini-blinds. Polymer frame. Brand new in box, removed from box only to take the attached photos. Will go to the dump 11 days hence if no one wants it...

If it turns out that ammo is not the issue, Ruger did have issues with the barrels and they replaced quite a few that I am aware of. They stand behind their product and the return and repair and return back to owner was pretty quick....
Basswood, Eastern White Cedar, Staghorn Sumac, Balsam Fir, Aspens, Poplars, Spruces, and most Willows are the wood species native to the mid-atlantic region that are good for bow drill. All must be very dry, or you'll spend a lot of time boiling off the moisture. Think dead branches still on...
Not really. I don't have any trouble on ordinary pants. All it takes is practice. On occasion, the pant leg will catch on the firearm when climbing out of the car, exposing the piece, but it's a simple fix once you learn to pay attention. Now, boot cut jeans are another story altogether. . .
I've taught primitive fire starting for 40+ years to adults (SERE) and scouts. If a 12 year boy can do it once he understands what is going on, everyone here can certainly do it as well. The particulars:
The sparks you get are tiny pieces of steel that the sharp edge of the stone cuts off...
