I just posted in SG stalker thread that I have a friend that is CSI for the MSP, and on Saturday she told me she was going to start doing W&C investigations because of the deluge of apps. I'm not sure when she will be stating, but I believe it was sometime this week.
Thats what I got last week for my renewal. I had to go to the portal to see if it had been updated to approved, and shazzam it had. I should be receiving mine early this week. My renewal took 15 days.
I did the same but submitted my renewal app on 6/28 and received an email of approved on 7/13 (15 days) 5-10 days to receive permit by USPS. Never has the process been this quick. It's usually 60+ days. Just goes to show you how they have been slow rolling the process. Not that it surprises...
One thing I have begun to do is, find out who is the campaign manager is for each candidate and research them. Their political ideology will most likely be in line with the candidate regardless what he/she is tell us.
I write all my W&C expenses off including insurance coverage. If the state is going to label my permit as business, then I'm taking advantage of the tax write off.

While we are both aware of that, she doesn't want to pay for the HQL just to purchase a handgun, if she wont be able to get her W&C because of some BS Frosh pulls.
On Sunday my 24 yr old daughter said, if it dies she will go out the next day to buy her first handgun, and apply for her W&C permit. She walks a lot in the woods around her house and would like to be able to protect herself.
