      I saw somebody say something about materials elsewhere in this thread, most polymer frames have a metal insert for serialization, what about those that don't have an insert or provisions for one?

      No problem. It does make me wonder though... since the removal of the plate requires destroying the frame, but not the plate (correct?), one could theoretically remove the plate and use it on a newly printed or otherwise manufactured frame. If one wears out/breaks or you just want another...

      And? These are being made by private individuals for private use, not being sold. If the intent is to sell the seller would need an FFL of some sort and each firearm would have a serial number which negates the whole untraceable aspect.
