Maybe already stated in the thread some where...If you FORM 1 your Pistol in this "amnesty" period, you can at a future date alter the SBR to another barrel length under 16", without submitting for another stamp. Im pretty confident that ATF will also stipulate anything less than 26 inch OAL will be considered an AOW even without a foregrip, after braces are ruled illegal. There is an ATF opinion letter from July 2019 suggesting this. If true.....in Maryland, removing the brace will still drive alot...- Tree Rat

Are we saying that active/retired LEO/MIL still have to apply as permit exempt or is this just for current CCW holders? I thought active/retired LEO/MIL need only show retired credentials at point of sale with the FFL? TR- Tree Rat

Plus is it really any rifle that can accept a magazine over ten rounds except for a .22 with a tubular magazine? Really, no 10/22's? or AR pattern .22's with a 10 round magazine? They are not center fire rifles. TR- Tree Rat
