      Thanks Everyone. I just got replies back from Quartermaster and Maryland Elite Firearms. They both will do it, but charge another 40-50 on top of shipping for the hassle. Hopefully this helps out someone in the future.

      Quartermaster is in the same parking lot of the Fallston Horizon Theaters. In the far back corner. I have never been in there before, but I have heard good things.

      Well he may just be out of luck. Called 3-4 dealers in California, no one wants to deal with Private Party transfers since they are trying to find any reason to shut FFls down. I guess as bad as MD is, CA is always worse.

      HQL Process update

      Mine Went active too this afternoon, applied last week, 3/07 and this morning still had MVA photo "incomplete" and the Mental health thing as "unchecked." I just checked now and it is active.

      Doesn't it say RESERVE on the CAC card? I am not talking about the Reservist that is called to Active Duty, but the Reservists that in the 1 day month 2 weeks a year category.

      So I know that this has been argued before, but now with the new regs as written it says "Active Member" of the Armed Forces, not Active Duty. So are reservists now eligible as long as they have an ID card--either CAC or even the green ones? I remember when first written, it said Active Duty not...

I see the fingerprint exemption for Active Military and then National Guard--that just doesn't make sense, since National Guard drills the same or even less than Reserves do?
