I didn't realize until I got home with this 26 that it has the NY1 trigger in it. I didn't look at the box until on my way home, nor did I test the trigger in the store. My bad, nobody to blame but me.
What can I do with this thing to make it better? This trigger is heavy and has a lot of mush...
Heading up to Lancaster this weekend. What are some good shops to stop at? Used to go to Village Arms in Gap, but I think they are something else now. Trop is kinda up that way, Lancaster maybe? Others? Thanks!
I stopped by the HoCo show in May and there was a guy at the back selling books and magazines. Does he show up at the other shows like Frederick, Gettysburg, etc.?
I'm over on the shore and don't get to many of the shows on that side of the bridge. And I have a bunch of hunting, shooting...
Just saw this on Cabelas website. I know part of the reason is it's a Colt and part is because it's Cabela's, but wow. Are these that rare? That many frogskins? Dont think I've heard of this one before.

For those with experience with Benelli's inertia driven system shotguns, what are your thoughts/experiences?
How does it compare to other semi auto systems? Recoil better or worse, cleaner system, ammo compatibility, etc?? Thanks.
Like the title says, who makes a decent American made milspec 1911?
I have 1911s that have factory "upgrades" or "features" and they are accurate and reliable. I just can't warm up to them, to me nothing has the feel of an authentic 1911 in milspec, plain jane form.
I see Auto Ordinance...

Begins tonight. Totally forgot about this until I got an email tonight. Used to be a great auction with lots of deals. Now that they include online bidders, the deals to be found are pretty rare. Still, there may be something here for you...
My wife's grandfather served in the Army Air Force in WW2 and brought back his issue 1911. Years ago, he gave it to me and it was in pretty sad shape. The war was rough on him and from the looks of it, he brought it back and forgot it. I don't think he ever touched it until he gave it to me...
Have a 7.5" Ruger Blackhawk convertible with both Colt and ACP cylinders. I was intrigued by the 45 Super and decided to give them a try. Buffalo Bore and Underwood ammo were tried and the 230 gr GoldDot load from Underwood gave really decent accuracy at 30 yards, so I am gonna give them a try...
Looks like a huge collection from Cecil County auctioned in Parsonsburg. Lots of military goodies!! Sorry for the late notice; just got the email...

I'd like to replace the factory plastic sights on my G17. I like the size and profile of the factory sights, just looking for a steel version. There are a lot of choices out there, but here's the catch. I can't find any with the Sig or Kahr type pattern--a single white post under the rear notch...

Not as big as in the past, but there are a few gems in the pile. Good luck finding a deal, however.

It's about time! The Bisley is a perfect home for both of these. With a just-over-minimum-hunting-length 6.5" barrel, all that remains is to get them on the roster.
