Let me start off by saying I'm not that knowledgeable on nfa items. I'm basically seeking member advice on the purchase of a pistol caliber short barrel rifle or a pistol with brace (if they are still legal). Would one purchase be easier than the other? Where would be a good place to start?
Asking for a friend. It's been a while since I had any dealings with it. 2 questions:
1) Is a Maryland hunters safety course taken over 3 years ago valid for the training requirement.?
2) How long are the fingerprints good for until you apply for the HQL?
I have a friend who recently acquired a 1902 colt chambered for 38acp. (Rimless smokeless ) printed on the slide. Any ideas where I can locate a box? Normal ammo sources come up empty.
This may be a dumb question but I can't seem to separate the upper from the lower on a pre ban sporter A2. I must be having a major brain fart. The front take down/ pivot pin is spring loaded and seems like its not made to be removed. What am I missing?
Just got a face full of crap but that's it. Was practicing speed shooting steel and "bang". Federal bulk ammo. Had about 150 rounds through the gun prior to it.
Has anyone ever scoped a 44 mag super blackhawk? Thinking about doing this but I don't want to drill and tap. Looks like the only viable option is the Weaver 301 base. I would like a decent variable scope but don't want to break the bank either because if I switch back I'll end up with a scope...
If I wanted to supply documents to the board members for my hearing, can I give it to them the night of the hearing or do they need to be submitted prior to hearing date?
Thinking about applying for my wear and carry permit. How much time do you have to submit the application after you get printed? Do the prints "expire" at a certian time?
As of tomorrow there will be a new commander at licensing division. Captain Brady is gone and captain Stachurski is in. Good, bad, the same, only time will tell. Time for everyone to break out their crystal balls. :D
My son has a Mossberg 500 20 gauge with the youth stock on it. To short now so I'm looking for a standard LOP stock. Any members have one that's collecting dust and would like to get rid of? Thanks
Rock river has a 1911 chambered in 22 tcm and comes with a 9mm barrel and recoil spring. Anyone have one or experience with one? Looks like a interesting caliber.
I've searched but can't find the answer. Is a retired MD Leo exempt from the classroom/training requirement for a Utah cc permit? Are they also exempt from the training and live fire for Floridas permit? I'm well aware of LEOSA way but that is not a option due to medical reasons.
