      Kriss Defiance?

      Has anyone fondled one? I think they came out just before Christmas. Saw a few videos and reviews which look interesting. Built like a tank and from the ground up. Take 10/22 barrels, and most trigger and frame mods from standard AR's. If I didn't have a SIG......it'd be on my list!

      Picked up a Henry 30-30

      checked out a henry tonight...didnt buy

      I've been looking at either a Marlin 3030 or a Henry and went to see one at Xring tonight. Frankly, I think they got a bad one. Most of the workmanship was very nice, but the forestock had about a .010 to .020" waggle in it at the rear band, which in ym opinion would only get worse with time...

      CCI mixing with Winchester??

      I went through a brick of CCI regular velocity and started noticing some winchester XX stamps on some casings! maybe a 20% mix or so in with the regular C's. Also, the bullet looked a bit different as well. Anyone seen this?

      Wingmaster restore project

      Got a 73 wingmaster in a trade on here that my gunsmith says is ok! It's a little rough, but something I'd like to restore. I'll keep posting step by steps as I go along. I'm stripping the stock now. Gunsmith still has it and I'll be sending the parts to a NY outfit to reblue.
