      Is it legal for me to meet my budding in a parking lot and transfer my rifle to his car, which will be in its case without any ammo of course, if I we are going to the range. I'm not sure if this is considered being "engaged in" the activity of going target shooting to the range.

      I guess it's the part of finding a dealer who will remove it for me then. I figure that any FFL in Maryland can't have any SCAR shipped to them new because they would all come with the stock and suppressor.
