I'm really surprized at all the incorrect...
I made a video of the process of converting 357 sig brass into 8mm Nambu. This was my first video and I'm not a professional Youtuber. Hope it can help some of you.
Note: Approximately about 80% of the brass will work with your pistol and can be reloaded several times after the...
This item was added to my collection last year. I purchased it from an auctioneer in Savage Maryland. I ran across several firearms in the auction and the reason I was there was for the silver coins. My first impression was that it was sanded and refinished. I wasn’t eager to bid on...
My name is ....x and I am an M1 Garand addict. There is no cure for me and I have learned to accept the consequences. My wife will leave me this year because of my addiction. Her loss! If you just grinned, you’re an addict too.
It has been exactly one year, one month and 8 days since my...
Walked in looking to bid for a FN49 (30-06) and walked out with 3 additional pieces. The turn out was low for firearms since the action was about antique furniture. It was an early Christmas.
Another addition to the MD community. A second sniper in my collection. ME & TE are zeros with a beautiful stock. The Z prefix make it the rarer of the sniper series. I could be overstating the piece but correct me if I'm wrong. I'm just a bit excited of my new find.
I just pickup today this 7.62 Nato Garand from a Rockville gunshop. I believe to be a Navy trophy rifles issued to participants in the Navy sponsored matches or maybe not. When I purchased it I did not know exactly what I had until I brought it home and reviewed the "The M1 Garand Rifle" book...
A pristine 1935 pistol. I got this baby at Reddding's auction last sunday. It did not go cheap but I'm glad it found a home in Maryland. I took it out today and it shoots great. I found my carry piece once I get my conceal license.
Just wanted to share my birthday present and a new addition to MD. It arrived today from an auction at GB. Overall I'm happy and excited with the pistola.. Is going to the range this weekend and if you see me with it just ask and I share the enjoyment. BYOA please (Bring Your Own Ammo)...
I wanted to create a new thread where's we can post our new C&R rifles and their first results at the range.
Here are two CMP M1 Garand field grade I ordered in October and their first range outing. I centered the rear sight windage to the center and the elevation to 10 clicks up from the...
I always wanted a 1903 from WWI and with a serial number in b/w 800,000 to 1,000,000 for my collection. I seen several on auction before but always in low numbers or in bad shape. Although this one was built in the last year of WWI, it may have seem some action in WWI and WWII. The sling...
Here is a new addition to the Maryland shooter community. I'm glad to bring it home.
Got it this Sunday at the Redding's auction in PA. A 1946 production with three matching mags. This is a solid built pistol with all matching parts. It resembles more like a Spanish Star B than a 1911...
I received tonight a UPS package from J&G. I ordered a Star Model B with the hand select option and wrote a note requesting wood grips. I always op for the hand select options when available and I have been treated well from J&C and Classic. I was surprised to see this nice blued pistol...
Just for curiosity purposes. I just received these two boxes of ammo as a gift from a friend in Rockville. Are they worth anything or collectible?
I don't want to shoot something that is collectable. Your insights will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
I brought a Model 1917 30-06 EddyStone rifle from a gunshop in Rockville on Saturday. The rifle was in very bad shape and It was listed as parts because 40% of the rifle was missing. You could not even see through the bore. It was nasty.
Two weeks before, I was at the same gunshop when a...
To the reloading gods.
I'm reloading for the first time 40 Smith and Wesson for my Glock 23 (LW barrel). I have reloaded 9mm, 45 ACP, 30-06, 30-40 kraig, but this is my first time with 40 S&W. I'll be using a single stage press.
Can this combination work and can it be safe?
1. Lead 175...
Here are my new two M1 Carbines from the CMP auction. Overall both rifles look great and I'm pleased with the results. One is WWII with an Underwood barrel dated 10-43. The other is a post war. The stocks, barrels and actions feel great and smooth. I can't wait to go out this weekend to...
I ordered Chinese SKS from Classic, paid the $20.00 for a hand pick and this is what I got. The sling was extra with 1000 rounds. I very happy with it and can't wait to shoot her. ;) How did I do?
I was hooked on the three nights series and got the wife hooked on the second night. An excellent program, full of educational material and lots of C&Rs we love to have. Patton & MacArthur rocked.
I noticed several ops in the series. First, it shows Hitler shooting a British Enfield from the...
