I've dealt with them since they were in NJ. Down hill from the their older roots. I had a letter from MD State Police for OK c&R transfers. No go for them. Not getting much these days, their lost. ( Wanted Argentine handgun, no, no, not happening)
I was in there on Wednesday before the sign was up and Gary said today is the day. Glad to see it happened. Nice layout for Gary as he continues to fill it out.
Okay folks, I'm an 'older' guy". Just to set the stage, when I was a young person, we had a rotary phone on a six party line, no TV. Only later did we upgrade to semi-private telephone (rotary) and three channel Tv that had a test signal. Ok, I need some help. I purchased an ATN Thor 4 nine...
Very interesting thread. I have a Bushmaster target rifle that I bought thru the CMP in 2000. 1" barrel under hand guard, three pound weigh in the butt stock. It come in at 13 lbs. Shot some meets with it but it's been 'parked' for 15 years. I wonder what it's status really is?
After the BAN ended, I picked up three AK type receivers from Nodak Spud. Romanian, Yugo and Polish Tantal. The two '47s' are togther and running fine, even after needing a little extra work on the Yugo. Tha Tantal is a different story. I got down to putting in the fire control group and the...
I have cases of the same plus Danish on clips. As others have said, If from the CMP, all good for Garands and others. KA has been stated to be corrosive, I only shoot it in Bolt rifles just for easier cleaning even though it came on enblocs. (There was one I didn't recognize but others have...
Actually, I have a similar one that is 1948 Polish single shot with the 'Archer' logo before the Soviets forced Circle 11 on the Poles. Very interesting feeding ramp and very accurate, beautiful condition. I've been thinking of selling it.
I sold my 'gap' letter SG IHC last year, good but not the best barrel. I still have a 'postage' stamp IHC with a great barrel. When I got one of the CMP Winchester rebulits, it had all front end IHC parts.
While not an NRA instrustor, I've helped muitlple people deal with this issue. Most have gotten over the serious frustration by simply putting some kind of block over the left eye and starting to knock birds out of the sky. More common than most folks think. I personally don't have this and...
I did call yesterday when I saw these. No answer, just said to email them. Appears to be no phone service it this time. I agree, should be C&R. :mad54: But maybe just what I need not to have another rifle. :innocent0
My Mossberg 500 combo rifled barrel will hold 3" 3shot groups at 100 yds all day with Remington accutips or copper solid. Hornady will hold 8" groups. Expensive Federals will not hold 36". I have not tried Lightfields, but hear that they can be good.
I have had a scope that went bad and...
I didn't read all the comments, so this may be already offered. I went with a .30 cal from YHM, mainly because of their quick-detach system. I can move the can between hosts with within seconds. To be honest, the can sits mostly on a .300blk shooting subs but have used it with 5.56, .308 and...
I have three so far. Male and female out of the same hole in my front yard, different days. Other one fell in the hole, so couldn't ID. I'm using an older Savage .17hmr, pre-accutrigger that I fitted with a rifle basix trigger adjusted down to very soft. I use to get 25-30 per year but now...
