If you have the $, I wouldn't hesitate. I wouldn't mind picking up another one myself but with the current project and 2 10/22s in the safe now, I have to pass. Just in case, which Dicks or is it the entire chain in the area?

I took advantage of the same pricing 3 weeks ago. To top it off, I had a $20 off a $100 purchase coupon. Good deal!!!!

I picked up the 10/22 last year for that price. Fun little plinker, couldnt pass it up at that price. The little lady loves shooting it as well, dont let the deal slip away if your in the market for one!

    I suppose $189 isn't so bad, in today's economy.

I bought a 10/22 from Dick's a few years ago for $149.00 and have never fired it! (Hardwood stock.)
I got a 10/22 from K-Mart a bunch of years ago, with a synthetic stock ($99.00), and my youngest son has taken that over. (He really thinks it's his!)

I want to put a Boyd's stock and target barrel on my 10/22.
Just always something else to be done, with the $$$, first.

IMHO, the best thing that you could do with that plinker is a heavy barrel, a cool-looking thumbhole stock, and maybe a trigger or hammer upgrade.

Of course, then it'll immediately become your son's gun. :D

Now I just need to mount the under-barrel grenade-launcher.

Picked mine up and going to transform it to a "Appleseed" model! Already have the sights and the harware for the sling. Need to order a sling and may order the mag release extension.

Then off to the range to practice before signing up for a Appleseed event in the fall.

    Exactly what I'm looking at.

Boyd's "Blaster" stock and a Green Mountain bull barrel.
    Possibly a replacement trigger assembly.

The synthetic 10/22 that I have will stay 'as-is' for my son.
This build will be "Dad's Plinker".:D
