Has anyone heard of a hen strutting?

I set my neighbor up at the farm where I knew he would see birds

Well he sent me a picture at 7:11 of a bird strutting but he said it was a hen. I figured it must have been a Jake but I figured I would ask
Not saying one way or the other what he saw, but a friend has video of a hen strutting around his decoy.

Not strutting, but I've heard them gobble and I've seen them with beards.

I spent the last two mornings chasing them around the farm in wva. Today's wind made it tough. Saw a few, heard a bunch, but none wanted what I had to offer.

In southern AA County this morning. Had 3-4 gobblers fired up. Flew down, headed our way. Damned coyote ran in on them. Putt putt, they flew across the marsh.

When the wind blows, hunt the lows. High winds will drive turkey down into the 'hollers' for shelter. Look for those areas and you might find your birds.
Funny enough, the only turkeys I saw yesterday were walking from an open field into the windiest area...

Had two beautiful days in the woods. I heard some early morning gobbles while still roosted. Once they flew down they were quiet except the one that the neighbor shot!

Congratulations to those that were able to harvest a nice bird!
