Weight per se is not that much of an issue in accurate shooting , smoothness and consistancy are. Remember for 75yr+ the standard was DA revolvers with 10-12lb pulls.

The first time I tried a NY-1 equipped Glock , I imeadatly ( as in during lunchtime of same day ) had my G17 done likewise.

Cop proofing a trigger, now that's funny. At least with the old double action revolvers you could go to single action when you needed accuracy.

Years ago, not in Maryland. The problem was solved by replacing them with Glocks the same year. Better but I still carried my Colt until I retired.
