PARATROOPER
or knifesmithing???
on my last trip home i got to messing around my pops old shop and found some of my old projects that he and i did a while back. There were a few handles lying around that we started so it got the wheels turning and the next day i pretty much a finished product, still working on getting the edge sharpened.
Tried to get some pics up but my bb is being gay and won't email pictures.
Anyway here is what i started...
Brazilian Cherry handle (out of my Grandparents' flooring from their home)
just regular Steel for the blade (piece came out of my grandpa's shop)
I used the steel because it was readily available
Again, i've only got to finish the edge and get it sharpened. so far i've been using my lansky tool, still on the Extra course stone (been sharpening it for about 6 hours total so far)
