Out of the box it's hard to beat the banshee or mcx. If you want it custom, it may be cheaper to buy the tools and do it yourself. But if you part it out with a gunsmithth/hanover they'll make sure you you're gassed correctly. They test fire in house. If you do it yourself, you may want to get an adjustable buffer or multiple springs to take with you on your first range trip.
