Probably the same as shooting blank rounds, which is illegal here in Howard county. Check your county ordinances.

BP? It would help all of us if we spelled out words when posting here rather than using abbreviations or acronyms. I have no idea what BP stands for and couldn't answer the OP's question if I wanted to.

BP = Black Powder, a very common abbreviation in these parts, especially in the BP subforum.

First, you just made sure I will never offer my help. Ever. Second, I was viewing the post from Taptalk, which makes it hard to identify the topic. I wasn't rude to you. A simple "black powder" would have been friendly and courteous. There are many members here who feel the same as me about using abbreviations.

Your first post was quite snippy, as is this one.
You'll get over it, I did, with humor.

I use Forum Runner for my iPhone app to get to the forums.
This is where I made the post. Abbreviations help when using phone and I figured the BP guys who would know the answer understood the acronym.

Forum runner is easy to see where you are at, and if one is just browsing "current posts", it shows you what forum you are seeing a post from.

Stand by for friendly sarcasm::::::.... 3....2....1....
    Abulge..
    What does OP mean?

I didn't realize that this was the Black Powder forum, but figured it out before I clicked on the link to the thread - the very first thing that came to mind was the group of re-enactors who were shooting muskets minus projectiles in a parade I watched on the 4th.

I shoot numerous blanks out of my BP guns on New Year's day and July 4th. Living in the woods of Davidsonville, where many neighbors do the same thing, no one gets their panties in a wad.

Isn't this the American thing to do?
