Meh. Just makes me miss my red '68 with a 327 high compression engine, 4sp. transmission w/ Hurst shifter and dual cherry bomb mufflers... that I sold for $950.00.

For that kinda scratch, the owner should also pay for hair restoration so I can regrow a power-mullet.

This. They should also include an 8 track player complete with tapes for Bowie, Led Zeppelin, Foghat, Alice Cooper and Mott the Hoople.

Just a run of the mill restomod. Bare bones engine, wheels, etc.
For that price I'd expect at least an ls3 engine with fuel injection, 4l60 trans, nice wheels, and a full custom interior.

High price for a generic restomod. As others have said, an original powertrain, or a better modern one would have been a better choice. They are basically a restomod factory, building to a hypothetical buyer, you are better off sourcing a car, and having it built to your specs for less money, or pay the price for one already built as long as it is the way you want it.

Restomod for 45k ... nope. 45k is collector pricing and it has no collector value.

They may get that at the auctions in Scottsdale or California because of all the posers but they wouldn't get it at the east coast auctions.

How much are used Testarossas? I saw this one in downtown Frederick last weekend, I’ve seen it down there before also. Sweet car:

For reasonable aproximation of old school muscle, if not intersted in high end collectability , or specific Camero fantasies , the cost effective route would be '86-'93 Mustangs .

Not Cobras or limited edition packages, but basic 5.0 GT or LX. They were plentiful enough to look for a non-restored with body and interior that's not totally trashed out . Then if inclined you could do some basic suspension mods, and either engine bolt ons or basic-ish crate moter, and still have total invested of less than half of that Camaro and have boucoup thrills driving it .

loved my 69 camaro rally sport. put 80k miles on it and sold it for what i paid for it, with no major repairs.

personally i just am not interested in collectibles, whether guns or cars etc. i want latest technology and to be able to use and enjoy it.

I prefer the older stuff without the nanny technology.

That car isn't worth that. 30k tops.
