Didn’t the st Mary’s sherrifs office bust a massage parlor down here and have the deputies buy sex acts, some did many many times and at court catch hell from the judge for having sex repeatedly with hookers so they could use it for evidence??

Strictly speaking , the "100% body massage" , using hands isn't prostitution per se, look up the Md legal definition of Sexual Acts . Would still have them about zoning violations, the employees not having current Massage Therapist certification, tax evasion, etc .

And of course the "extras" would be illegal .

But the main focus( or at least headlines ) are about alledged human trafficking.

They claimed they needed to make 25 controlled buys...

Either way you look at it, there's no happy ending to this story.

Take it easy with your accusations. You know they always go by the book.

    That's hilarious BTW.

Big stink about doing the same thing up here in HoCo about 8-10 yrs ago as well.

I'm sure they had no shortage of volunteers for that duty .......

I think they should legalize it in certain select areas, and tax it.

It's never going away, and psychologically the current system just creates an unhealthy taboo which mixes with internet porn to get problematic people wired-up to the point that they unleash all kinds of sexual issues on the general public -- often in the form of rape and murder.

There is a certain subset of society that is driven by sexual issues. I think these people need both an outlet, and help. Driving them underground and ostracizing them only makes it worse.

In South Korea, where I currently reside, it's illegal but quietly managed. They realize the many problems that would develop if they tried to completely stamp it out, such as in the USA. Chasing a whack-a-mole with too many resources, taking too much police time, ending too many marriages (sexless marriages need an outlet), etc.

My biggest problem with the game is if you have people being taken advantage of , or being a slave to the trade . If you have a business deal and all parties agree well that's okay . IMHO

Which is a good argument for licensing and legalization of it.

And coming down very hard on anyone trafficking people, etc.

***** I actually had dinner a couple of doors down from the Shiatsu Massage place in Derwood a few minutes ago. The place is closed with all the lights out. I live only 3 minutes away from that place and never even noticed it was there, much less offering such massages. There are massage places all over Rockville, North Potomac, Derwood, Gaithersburg, Etc... I can't imagine they are all legit places. All of the ones I've seen seem to have Asian ownership. The rent on those locations cannot be cheap so those places must have been raking in some serious $$$. No doubt the proprietors of the places with the illegal activity are flight risks so hopefully they are in jail or have some kind of ankle monitoring, explosive neck device monitor, etc.. to keep them from taking off...
