Yeah, our Government would never suppress the right to free speech on public platforms, surveil private citizens, collect private information on private individuals contrary to the 4th amendment... just because of a pandemic.

Congress has no authority to pass a law, or ratify a treaty, that is in violation of the Constitution. SCOTUS has made ot pretty cleat such an act wpuld be invalid and void from the start and have no effect of law.
