I just put up my 2nd BK2 for sale on the flea. Never used it. I think its too large for my needs. If I need a hatchet or a froe, that's what I will use.

That being said, its a nice chunk of steel you get for a decent price. Too bad the coating on all my Beckers flake off if you look at it wrong. I stripped mos tof mine.Heard the Esee coating is pretty good, and stays on.

I am all about the 3-5" (thats what she said) size for backpacking survival knives .

My son and I got 2 FREE knives from Esee for finding the "buried treasure" in the Shenandoah mountains.

Great knives to add to the collection.

Love the candiru! It's my weekend carry knife. I use to carry everyday until i started a more "white collar" job.

Have a 3mil in my BOB and my wife has the izula II. All great knives!

I received my Izula II and Esee 4. So far I am very impressed with them. What are you guys coating the blades with to prevent rust.

i've been using tuf glide and cloth with no issues.

but if you're planning on cutting edibles, i'd reccomend a food grade mineral oil. i think you can find some at homedepot

someone suggested froglube to me once but i havent tried it
