I broke my wife's AR down for cleaning this evening. I found this spring in the lower. It was not there when I first got it and lubed everything. Any ideas? I cannot find where it could be missing from.

That's what I was thinking, it's one of only a couple of springs that could wind up in there... the disconnector spring being the other, but that doesn't look like a disconnector spring.

I changed the buffer tube on this so her pink camo furniture would fit. On my Spikes lower, I took the buffer tube off and launched the retainer spring. Never found it till now.
