Very nice gun with a few drawbacks.

    Pros:
    Lightweight
    Accurate
    No Recoil
    Cheap to Shoot
    Classic
    Blingtastic
Made in the US of A

    Cons:
The Brass receiver is easy to scratch
    Time consuming to reload
Tough to mount a scope or replacement sights
The stock drops oddly low, making it uncomfortable for some people to shoot

I would suggest shooting one or at least holding one before buying.

The action on mine is like glass, accuracy is as good or better than any of my other .22s and no other rifle is as good looking as the Golden Boy. I have 4 different Henry's and they are all amazing quality guns.

Henery? WTF are you, Herman's Hermits singing Henry 8th?

It's Henry, the same Henry that made Johnny Rebs scream like little bitches in 1862

A couple of counter arguments ...

Very nice gun with a few drawbacks.

    Pros:
    Lightweight
    Accurate
    No Recoil
    Cheap to Shoot
    Classic
    Blingtastic
Made in the US of A

    Cons:
The Brass receiver is easy to scratch (That's what makes it a "Golden Boy" ... or you can get One of these ... Lever Action .22 Rifle)
Time consuming to reload (Get one of these ... Spee-D-Loader™)
Tough to mount a scope or replacement sights (Get one of these ... Scope Mounts)
The stock drops oddly low, making it uncomfortable for some people to shoot (Add an after-market cheek pad if so needed)

I would suggest shooting one or at least holding one before buying.

I own one ... and LOVE it.

I can't buy one. I'd strip it down, antique it, and make it look 150 years old.

That and the tube magazine on all of their rifles is a turn off. They need side loading ports. They just scream Marlin/Glenfield Model 60 in the current configuration.

    Good God, Man

    What were you thinking?

Your gun owning rights have been taken away for the time being. :D

At least put a period correct scope on it.

    I can't look anymore.

Correct period scope ??? I want to hit the target, not squint through one of these ... ;)
