Still one of the slimmest and most elegant pistols around, which is amazing considering it was one of the very first semi-automatic pistol designs. You can see some of the design influences that bled over to the 1911. It's a very robust design too. John Moses Browning was a true genius
Then you may not have known about John Brown's "hammerless" 1910 .45. Read about this in an American Rifleman magazine...the museum curator and magazine guy had to figure out how to take it apart as it was the only prototype with drawings and diagrams lost. Cool piece of history!
