I am not going to cite you any answer that is legal, but instead quote my own thoughts.

    You say, CAN I?
In other words WE have to ASK the KING for permission here in the " Not SO FREE, State"

I say the answer is, WILL I BUY said, pre ban AR 15?

You can still buy a Colt but it must have a heavy barrel if it’s .223/5.56.
    .22 ARs weren’t affected.

    I don't think .22LR was affected by FSA 2013.
This is what I thought, but wanted to check on,

SG, answer me this too. Are there similar FSA 2013 BANS in other 2A friendly states such as Tennessee, FLA etc?
I am suspecting NOT, as I read something like this about the dreaded AK47

Were you 18 in 1988? Just wondering if you remember him giving to to you before ar15s were regulated.

The other question would be if it's a 5.56 colt with a 22lr conversion bolt OR is it a dedicated 22lr rifle.

A few states have bans on evil "assault rifles". As stated many times, the issue I have is how vague and confusing (IMO intentionally) MD laws are.

    "Totally" on the vaguery part.

I like the FL law as I read it here. Also, I think FL was working on or has verbiage whereby an 18 year old can buy a rifle or shotgun.

The vague and confusing part just pushes me to say F*** it, do what I think is right and forget about it.
Part of me thinks that this is one of the intended consequences of the law makers' efforts in passing these restrictive and often confusing laws.

That way they can say, " SEE, these awful gun owners can't even obey the law, why should we trust them to own guns?"
Therefore we need to pass more laws to limit their use till we can effectively eliminate gun ownership altogether.
