    FREEEEEE AT LAST!!!
Guys, being still somewhat new to the area....

My anniversary is coming up and i would love to take the wife somewhere very nice for dinner. She doesn't do seafood or exquisite cuisine. Everything else is pretty much fair game. I've google mapped a few places but w/o reviews or them being a well known chain i have nothing to really go on.

    Any suggestions?

Friend of mine ate at Fogo de Chao in DC and raved about it.

I see from a quick look at their site that they opened another in Baltimore.

He said they wait on you constantly and you get to try anything and everything.

Little Italy is always a good choice for anniversary dinners.
There are several good restaurants depending on your budget.
Da'Mimos is the high end, expensive, great atmosphere.
Germano's Trattoria is also very good.
Then after dinner walk over to Vaccaro's for coffee and dessert.

    Good Luck.

Alberto's is expensive....really expensive as is Cafe Bretton.

Les Folies is not cheap, but not ridiculous. It's pretty laid back for a high end restaurant.

Piccola Roma is great and the staff is really friendly.

the chicago style ribeye at morton's is amazing. as is the hot fudge chocolate cake.

expect about $2-250 for dinner depending on how thirsty you are.

my mom is a huge fan of prime rib, took her there for her birthday a couple years back- she had never been to a nice steak place before and was in heaven.
certainly not something i can afford everyday or even once a year, i spent over two hundred when i took my girlfriend and i knew the bartender, so that didnt included most of our drinks.

Anytime you're in Bowie, try TJ Elliots on 197 or, for an Irish pub feel, The Old Bowie Towne Grill in the old part of town. Both are also on Delta Skymiles Dining, if you're a member (3-5 miles per $ spent).
