I think by the looks of this I will skip lapping my rings. I used the alignment guage with full torque and it looks right on. Savage 110 with Vortex rings getting close to mounting Vortex 5-25x Strike Eagle.

ARC M-Brace, either seperate rings or 1 pc mount. They are excellent & easy to install without canting your scope.

I usually use Warne. Not the most expensive but never had any issues. Never lapped them, either.

For one long range rifle I used an American Defense 20 MOA mount.
