Seriously though, after SB281's passage there is less than zero chance of anybody funding a new range in Maryland.

Of course, John Bohanan's range "task force" is just as imaginary as the range that is being described on this thread. But it will appeal to the gullible -- which is exactly John Bohanan's intention, in my opinion.

By the time that the task force fizzles-out, it will be after the election and it will have served JohnB's purpose, to maybe get a few low-information voters to vote for JohnB rather than for the true Pro-2A candidate, Deb Rey. Will those few extra voters be enough to get JohnB reelected -- I sure hope not.

If John Bohanan was serious about supporting the shooting sports in SoMD, he woulda stood with us in the fight against 2013's SB281. Or he woulda supported Mike Smigiel's 2014 bill to repeal SB281. But he did neither.
