    Training should be required.

I suggest that basic firearms safety and handling should be taught in high school along with a civics class (do they do those anymore?). Throw in an economics class, too. Not Home-ec (do they do that anymore?). I don't care about baking cookies or sowing, although perhaps teaching how to scramble an egg and prepare a healthy meal that didn't come from a drive-thu is a good idea. More like balancing a bank account (almost said "Checking" account, but that might confuse the youngsters as they try to figure out what a check is), understanding credit and taxes, basic investing knowledge, etc... Stuff that everyone should know to be at least modestly able to live adult lives.

So... yeah. Mandatory training. In high school. So kids can turn into adults and be able to immediately and safely exercise their rights to self defense.

    Like FCS?

I still see a whole bunch more wrong with that application... but that's just me...

...excuse me while I continue to finish digesting the first BIG bite of the elephant... :D
I think the ruling from Thomas already has the elephant cooked and cut up into bite size pieces. Just need to finish them all off now.

Agreed. Kids take field trips all the time. One week of 50 minutes classes on firearm safety and handling inactivated firearms and a field trip to a local range to get instruction in shooting using 22s at the end. You can opt out of the field trip, but not the safe handling/safety classes.

It seems like they are trying to make everywhere a sensitive place, almost like opinion said they could not do.

Thanks for the refresher. I remember the ton of no carry areas, which as I see it creates more risk as folks constantly take their guns off and on...unless of course the legislature intended that drill to become so frustrating that more people would leave their guns at home. :innocent0
And that was the point. If they have enough areas that you can't carry or the burden of holstering and leaving in in the car, and then having to reholster after returning was to detour people from carrying.

    Unconstitutional. Will get thrown out.

Also concealed is concealed, unless every business in NY and NJ wants to pay for a guy to wand everybody or a metal detector (doubt it)

The only place in FL like that is Disney World…….and we have 3 court cases generating steam against them down here right now in regards to their ban on carry at Disney Springs, which is just another outdoor mall similar to other outdoor malls in FL

Heard someone last month was stopped trying to get into the park and had a loaded pistol and 50 round box with them.

These just did that tingly rope thing from gym class again. Now we need someone to go full scortched earth in MD. Id really like to see AG Pornstasche have a nervous breakdown as he sees he has been beaten and beaten bad. We have waited long enough its time to get this moving.

That's another gift from the left. We should thank them for their ober-exuberance in giving us the standing to get rid of that crap formally. They can't help themselves.
