An Oregon county judge Tuesday issued a permanent injunction against a voter-backed law that regulates the purchase of gun permits and magazine capacity, finding it violates the state's constitution.

The ruling from the Harney County Circuit Court arrives almost a year after county residents Joseph Arnold and Cliff Asmussen joined the Virginia-based Gun Owners of America and Gun Owners Foundation in suing Oregon officials to prevent the enforcement of Measure 114.

Outside of Portland and adjacent Williamatte Valley, the rest of Oregon is a great place . The northwest corner of the state where family is from , and estranged family still lives is on the short list of places for having Everything in proximity .

Agree. I'm an Oregonian by birth, still have family outside Pendleton. I love to visit, but Portland has turned from the City of Roses, to the City of the Blue Tarps and Feces.

Well that is very good news in my book. My dad lived in Oregon and was born in Portland as well. I always conceited Oregon my 2nd home around The Dalles area along the Columbia River. My aunt and uncle both used to live in The Dalles along with grandma before they passed away. Uncle Russell served in the Korean War and worked for DOD after he got out for a little bit before moving from Newberg/Dundee area of Oregon which is southwest of Portland. I spent many summers in Oregon when I was in short pants and my early teen years as well. I still have a first cousin who live in The Dalles and up in Sprit Lake,ID. Really sad to see Portland turn into a real dump and that city does not smell like Roses at all anymore. I also hear there is a movement that the people of eastern Oregon want to leave Oregon and join ID but I think that would be a very impossible undertaking. Glad to see the Rats who moved up along I5 from Kommie Kali get smacked down!

Just read that request To stay the injunction was denied. Law is done for now. Still will have hearing at some point but for now, it’s paused for awb and >10 in Oregon
