A lot of drug users wish that’s the way it worked lol
Not really the same, if you go into an FFL in this state its the FFL's responsibility to make sure the item they sell you meets the MD requirements. But a gun like the P365 I can see how it gets confusing, all other P365s are legal, only difference is the grip module size.

    Let me get this straight....

The gun has been approved. That part is done. All the work to approve it has been done.

But even though it's been approved it's not legal for 9 more days because....reasons, even though nothing will happen in those 9 days to make it illegal?

You can tell this is a government operation.

It has to be published in the MD register to allow comment.

Then if no negative comments it’s approved

    Sorry that’s the system

The bribery list is just that. And it is unconstitutional. Manufacturers must pay bureaucrats in order to be allowed to sell legal products. If they don't pay, they don't get in the last.
How much, in cash tips, is paid every year?
(I bet Bruen shrink the cash income of many people in the state. Just wait until the expensive training mandates get tossed.)

At least Md's is better than California . In Md , once it's on the roster , it's on the roster . In California , the mfg have to pay an annual fee for each gun , to keep it on the roster . And as they get dropped , they are orphans , unable to be sold .

In some of the latest California insanity , before an additional gun can be added , two guns must come off .

I agree with you that the ffl is on the hook but ignorance of the law doesn’t erase the fact that they have an illegal gun in their possession so they clearly could be charged. Now do I think charges should happen ? Absolutely not. Do I think charges could happen ? Md

If you get the weight kits with it have some electric tape or adhesive available the tungsten rods fit loosely in the channels at least on the P320 modules. A single wrap of electric tape provides just enough added thickness for them to stay put.
Interesting, I was gonna use silicone

So what if a friend of a friend purchased one, what should I tell him to do? He also was able to find 2 of those magazines that are flush and hold 17 rounds.
Asking for a friend. And maybe he shouldn't carry it until it makes it on the roster officially right?
I need to give him a call and let him know the news.

It makes you wonder what in hell happened to the idea that they weren't going to enforce the various sub model anymore. If the darn thing says P365X on the firearm, it really shouldn't matter

No, clearly they couldn't be charged. It's not an illegal gun, it's a gun that hasn't been approved for sale in Maryland. Big difference in terms of criminality (or lack thereof) based on possession.

Not saying I agree with the roster at all but it is very clearly a different gun in most dimensions on the Sig web site. Also the sellers know this was a new model this year and the 365X has been on the roster for a while. All moot very soon

We’ll I’m clearly no lawyer so to me it sounds illegal and MSP clearly has a problem with them out before being on the roster.

Thank you for being one of the good ones.

So that makes me one of the bad ones? Ok if not wanting someone to get jammed up on a technicality I’ll take it.
