I live in DC, so I'm very limited to what I can get online. Obviously CMP is no problem, and I've ordered a ton of .30-06 Garand food and .22LR surplus from them. Target Sports USA also shipped to me here in the District. Other than that, most places won't ship to DC even though it's fully legal. Not sure why they still do this after the District adjusted the laws last July.

Targetsportsusa.com always ships free when you order case quantities, and prices stay pretty reasonable, of course right now they are sold out of all the good popular ammo.

Cabela's is taking backorders on Remington UMC .223, 800 rounds for $300. Shipping is ~$19, and they have a code for $20 off $150 on their home page. Not the best price in the world, and will be 2-3 weeks before being shipped, but reasonable given the level of panic these days.

$299 shipped/800 rounds = $.374/round and includes the dry box. I'll take it. Beats the shit out of CTD's $1,000 per 1,000 rounds. :sad20:

Thanks Boondock  This made my day given the truly crappy prices out there right now.

Thanks boondock, ordered as well! I'm in no rush to get it but it will be interesting to see if their estimated ship dates are accurate. I'd be very surprised

******** cabelas order of remington umc 223 bulk*********

Just called cabelas. They said that the list is so long. That it will take 6-12 months before I could even see mine. If I would have placed order at that time. So. The 2-3 week back order is correct for the first ones who bought it months back. Sorry for the bad news. Don't believe me. Call them.

    Walmart Eldersburg was re-supplied 7/23

Federal 9 in 100 rd value box.
Other brands of 9mm, including PPU.
    Some 45.
    Various other hunting calibers.

No .223 as purported in another post from yesterday that I can't seem to find...

Forgive the lame report the ammo was still in boxes on the floor when I got there at 7:15 this morning and a non shooter was unpacking it.
