I live in DC, so I'm very limited to what I can get online. Obviously CMP is no problem, and I've ordered a ton of .30-06 Garand food and .22LR surplus from them. Target Sports USA also shipped to me here in the District. Other than that, most places won't ship to DC even though it's fully legal. Not sure why they still do this after the District adjusted the laws last July.

Yeah. The .223 sometimes goes on for $4.49/20, in either 55 or 62. I like the 62.

Cabela's is taking backorders on Remington UMC .223, 800 rounds for $300. Shipping is ~$19, and they have a code for $20 off $150 on their home page. Not the best price in the world, and will be 2-3 weeks before being shipped, but reasonable given the level of panic these days.

$299 shipped/800 rounds = $.374/round and includes the dry box. I'll take it. Beats the shit out of CTD's $1,000 per 1,000 rounds.
