I ordered a customized polished stainless CZ-75B on Christmas Eve, 2012.

I'm still waiting; not for the customization to be done, but for the stock pistol to get to the shop from the factory!!

I also ordered 5 fifteen rd. magazines to go with it. If I don't hear that they have the pistol in the shop in the next few days, I'm going to tell them to just send me the magazines and wait on the pistol, which I can always get later.

Nope. It needs to be a revolver shotgun, not rifle. And the definition of a shotgun in MD is "has a stock and is smooth bore", IIRC. I don't think just taking shotgun shells will do it.

I just happened into my local dealer the other day and they had a Springfield XDm .45 5.25 Competition sitting in the case, let's just say I didn't let it sit there for long.
I had wanted to pick up a full size 45ACP with extra mags before the cap takes effect. This will take over the HD role.
I have had my eyes on an Adcor BEAR that is SBR (love that it says Made in Baltimore, MD), but I am not sure how often I could make it to the range and really work with the rifle (cash&time). I have allocated my money to training with what we have in the safe already.
None the less, I think I will get a lower of some good standing and squirrel it away for a future build.
