    If all he is shooting is trap, why not get him a true trap gun and not an over under? Bart's has several single barrel trap guns, Brownings and Perazzis.

    PG Skeet and Trap sells guns and usually has quite a few and they can help fit. Barts is good but expensive. PM sent

    PG County sells Berettas. They don't have a gunsmith or gunfitter. They do have an good all around shooting instructor, Reese Arthur, who can get him off on the right foot and probably fit him if the gun comes with adjustable hardware.

    I agree that light 12 gauge loads are the way to go. Gun weight, payload and velocity are the variables you want to watch to control recoil. A heavy gun (like that 101) combined with 7/8 oz loads traveling 1200 fps will deliver lighter recoil than any 20 gauge.
