Same shed with more and betterlocks and cables for now but extra security is in the works.
Good news! The bike was found this morning @ 1:30am on the side of the road in Germantown when a police officer heard it and followed the noise. Didn't catch any suspects and because of the weather no prints on the bike. Just a little beat up and abused but still runs and will be fixed back up. My brother is elated that he got it back as he didn't think he would ever see it again.
Lots of bikes being stolen lately. My neighbor just had his garage broken into and 3 bikes were taken
Anyone ever given any thought to how these thieves home in on ORV owners/storage locations? Is it a kid in school saying too much about what he or his Dad own? Maybe the parts guy at the bike shop that won't sell you a part until you give him your address? There is certainly the obvious sound/sight of one being ridden near a home, but if you normally trailer it elsewhere, how did they know it was there?
On the latter, my buddy had 2 dirtbikes and 2 4 wheelers stolen in the middle of the night. The crooks unscrewed his flood light bulbs, forced open his man door on garage to get the big garage door open and out went 2 four wheelers and possibly 1 dirtbike.
]Shed was locked and was forced open. The lock is nowhere to be found, maybe they took it with them? Everything else in the shed is still there, gas power washer, rotor tiller and all his power & hand tools. We found tracks leading away from the shed & house but disappeared by the road.

I have a thought, anyone else pick up on it ?

All these things require WORK to use them.

Those other things you mention involve WORK like you said.
I have alarm contacts on the garage door and the windows and man-door into the garage. Typical garage doors can be defeated with a clotheshanger.
