Thanks, and yes its an SBR. There is no barrel in it right now actually. I am waiting for it to be returned to me from Adco. I had it cut down to 10.5". Ill list specs below

Spikes Tactical Upper (Purchased complete @ 16")
    Spikes Tactical Zombie Lower
    Spikes Tactical BCG
Magpul Furniture with some stippling work
    American Punisher Dust Cover
    Noveske KX3 Compensator (Flaming Pig)
Daniel Defense FDE Duracoat (Duracoating done by me)
    KNS Anti-Rotational Pins
    Spikes Tactical Single Stage Trigger

I think thats about it. I wanted something tuff, reliable, and lightweight. This set up so far has been just that. I also run the Vortex Sparc red dot which balances the gun out perfectly.

On that color carpet, that gun looks almost silver.

Here's mine as it sits now. I think I fixed the ergonomics issue with a new grip.

Now I just need to get a lighter-weight light. I'm eyeing the surefire x300 with rifle kit.

Bcm gunfighter grip, excellent choice, im very happy with mine, especially after shooting yesterday.

Mouzzer, any chance some more pis of the color, my buddy duracoats and sometimes i get in on it too. Id like to do a fde reciever but i agree the pic almost makes it look silver.

I looked at Elzetta, but would like to stick with surefire, unless someone can give a good reason not to go with either their x300 or m300a light. Their website wasn't showing up properly the other day too. Pretty frustrating.

The BCM Mod0 grip is good, I like it while handling and doing house clearing drills. It's more like the AK grip I know and love. I just wish I could get the AK's ergonomics on the AR. :(

The AR feels awkward and bulky to me. I think part of it is the light I'm using, but we'll see.
