    wonder what the rest of the rifle was like, it doesn't look too bad... a shame...

    Is that one of those rifles with a floating zero? You know every time you pull the trigger it resets its self to a new zero point.

    One side of me wants to admire the shade tree engineering of that mount . inbetween shaking my head .

    ( And I actually have respect for quality , period correct Sporters from or representing a certain era of American gun culture and gunsmithing history
    It's THIS one specifically that has my head shaking .)

    So a $20 Enfield was cut down for a belly gun pre-68. Not a big deal till you look at the maker.
