Update on hql/ccw expungement denial

Long story short MSP is wrong when they say FBI doesn't except Maryland expungement. Reapplied after getting denied hql & ccw after expungement, went back and forth with msp and fbi about it with msp saying they are correct and fbi is wrong. Called a lawyer but was told $300 to answer 1 question so went about it on my own. Contacted cjis and fbi with fbi saying to apply for my records and see if anything is on it , did that and came back no previous arrest. Had appeal hearing with msp for them to finally say it was at the time i applied that i had a record and if i feel its cleared up i could reapply. Did that and hql and ccw granted. Make sure expungement is finalized (have paper from all parties especially cjis) before you apply and if you want to verify apply for your record from cjis. And mark no if you had an expungement to questions about previous arrest when applying for hql or ccw. Not sure if this will help anyone or not but it did for me
