I was impressed to learn that Hawaii has only had 4? Ccw permits in like the last 10 years.

Many years they had Zero . Typically the only ones were for Police Chief or other high ranking official hired from out of state and not yet completed their Hawaii POST certification, or a civilian Armorer .

    Probably true.
a little off. I heard for a couple years total.

    2016 1119
    2017 1594
    2018 1888
    2019 1927
    2020 2342

I believe even higher in 2021. These are just Fentanyl. total opiod is higher. That also may have been what I heard was the total opioid. Ugh.

Trigger control is good . But when I showed Littlefoot44 , she imeadately said " she's leaning too far back , she needs to lean into it more " .

My daughters, as many new shooters tend to lean way back, like they’re trying to put distance between them and the gun. I’d keep saying, lean into it. I tend to promote the weaver stance to them, but supported what ever was natural for them. My youngest was short and developed a great fighting stance :)

Doc's in internal medicine. Maybe a physical therapist or some other discipline can assist with posture. ;)

So AK’s, AUG’s and pencil barrels are MD legal again?

    No!

The GVR will effectively make it as if the law hadn’t been challenged yet.

Kolbe is now bad law, but there will be more litigation.

I‘ve always subscribed the leaning back to the fact the deltoids are small muscles relative to what we ask of them in handgun shooting - at least when doing it for the first time(s) - and therefore we naturally compensate by allowing the larger, much stronger back muscles to “take over” um, naturally.

Anytime a student’s “other coach” (typically a well intentioned family member or boyfriend) expressed skepticism we had a rest that adjusted up and down on a barricade (vertical 2x6) at which point, shooting off a rest standing up, the reaction was always, “Huh, well look at that, no more leaning backwards. Huh …”

I'd like to think that Lou45 is looking down (or up) at us with a smile on his face.
