I don’t see how a medical discharge would preclude you from the same exemption from training as any other service member with a DD214. Especially if you are otherwise able to own/purchase firearms.

I hope they will make exceptions for combat wounded with a medical discharge.I’m not disagreeing; someone said they are not exempt due to a “medical” discharge.

But MD law doesn't say dishonorable is a disqualifier for training exemption, it says honorable is the exemption.
