Hey y'all,
I started my firearm journey years ago when my grandfather let me try out his 22 shooting cans out in Washington State, followed up by shooting pests in the backyard with a BB gun as a kid.
However, I then had a 15 year dry spell, so I'm just getting into the world with new eyes. I inherited a few rifles and a handgun when my grandfather passed, and they sat in storage, untouched. Now it's time that I learn to use them as a reasonable gun owner. I've recently gotten my HQL, purchased a 10/22 to attend Appleseed, purchased my first new handgun, and purchased an AR. I've spent months stocking up on ammunition, mostly 22lr, and am looking forward to my first time at the range this weekend for Appleseed.
Happy to be part of this community, and hope to see some of you out in the world. I wish I had joined sooner, when prices were more reasonable, but there's no time like the present!
