Which is a better show York or Harrisburg?

York is a much better show than Harrisburg.

Years ago Harrisburg was big, but it has been steadily shrinking, while York has been growing. Harrisburg varies between the size of a Gettysburg show on a good weekend, and a Frederick or Timonium show on a bad one.

It 'claims' to be a 800 table show, but the hall is usually half empty... I'd guess 500 on a good weekend, while York fills two halls to capacity (listed as 1000 tables).

I remembered this comment by another member, there were so few vendors you could literally drive a car down the aisles at Harrisburg.

I didn't make the comment but that was my experience last year when I attended the fall Harrisburg show.

    Decent show, and fairly well-attended.

I for there about 1130, and heard a vendor say that they may have just seen the biggest push of the weekend, so maybe it will be lighter tomorrow??

Good to run into KCDay, and finally get to meet him.

I enjoyed the show, picked up some gen2 magpul pmags for $9.50 per which is about as low as they are anywhere on the internet as well as a Magpul Glock drum for $100. Went late yesterday 3:30-5:00pm so it was a bit quieter.

Not a bad show, but annoying that people start packing up at 2:15.

The former promoter at Gettysburg before Eagle took it over used to remind vendors not to do this or they would not be invited back.
