Maryland Elite Firearms is my new go to. They treat their customers with respect and are a great group of guys. I’d recommend them to any of my family and friends.

If your not interested in smiles... continental arms. LOL
    I second that.

Don't use their range on weekends if you value your safety. They believe RSOs can be effective by watching from the counter over the television.
You are 100 % correct on that. It gets crazy in there. I shoot every Monday or Wednesday at 2:30 pm. Range is empty....

I've seen some pretty actie RSOs inside the range on the weekends.

Going back to comments about Mollys ... since they have become an internet sales GIANT, their prices have moderated. Some of their stuff is actually the best buy around. Apparently they doubled down and started buying products they could get fantastic wholesale buys on if they bought in HUGE bulk and spent the money to make money.

I would have to disagree on PSG Armory prices, They are equal or lower than online prices on the 3 items I looked at/bought.

    1000 rnd case brass 9mm 115 (norma) - $310
    Holosun 507K grn - $319
    New Marlin S.S. 45-70 Trapper - $1249

They where friendly and helpful with all my questions

I should have clarified... I only looked at 3 handguns I was interested in and didn't price anything else.

One that I looked at was a P365X for $629 and I can find it online for $599. But like I said once you add shipping cost and FFL fees, PSG is the better deal for sure. So a tad bit higher for the actual handgun, but in the end a better deal. Really $30 difference probably isn't worth mentioning so maybe I should not have mentioned their prices at all in my initial post...

And I agree they were friendly and I did make a purchase. I have a feeling I'll go back before the year is over for another lol...

Sure wasn't the last time I was in. Coincidentally that's the last time I'll ever darken their door.

It has been a few weeks since we went, covids means staying home. I don't know when you were there last. We try to go Wednesday for date night cause there is usually no waiting. But the weekend trips has had someone in the range, sometimes two of em.

I think they reduce the available lanes at times depending on how many are out there. I was talking to one of the counter guys and he said they have been really busy since the Bruen decision.

    Hello,

Been a lurker here for months, and just recently got my HQL. Looking for recommendations as to where you guys shops for all things gun related. I’ve been a few places where the customer service is abysmal and the employees almost turn their nose up at newbs....

Just looking to share thoughts, experiences and reviews at shops you’ve visited.

I’ll start...United Gun Store in Rockville, MD is awesome. Will help anyone from the most seasoned to the new guys/gals on the block.

My dad and I were just talking after we left the gun shop yesterday about Werner who used to work at X-Ring Supply in Newark, DE. Any chance anyone here knows what he is up to now?

My dad agreed that he was so helpful that he'd be worth following to another shop.

My favorite is 2A in Jessup, I have never had a bad experience and they were always straight up. First in line is first served, and so on. No BS and honest. He was able to remember me even though I only buy every few years and dont stop in unless I am buying.
Co-sign on 2A. Bought my first pistol (S&W M&P 2.0) there. Helpful, allowed me to compare a few different pistols that met my requirements that they had in stock. Only downside is their distance from me and have since been able to develop relationships with AM Shooting in Damascus, Heritage in Frederick and Lifeline Firearms in Artbutus.
